Maybelline Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolor

Maybelline presents Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolor that leaves the lips soft and smooth. It is said to contain the glossy formula that chisels the lips splendidly. This lipcolor is utterly non-sticky and gives shimmering look to the lips. Company’s website states that it contains aqua-botanicals and Vitamin E that keeps the lips moist and subtle. However, there is no written evidence for ingredients mentioned but this product does makes lips soft and glossy after the application.

It is totally weight less because after application you would not feel that you are wearing the gloss. It also takes care of the soft lines on the lips. The consistency of the gloss is just correct, not too thick or thin. The creamy evenness easily spreads on the lips and gives the wet shine.

This is stated as a lipcolor but does not show any color on the lips. It is available in limited colors that all shine as lip gloss with no color on the lips. Basically it is very good lip gloss. It stays on lips only for one hour after that it has to be applied again. There is no mention about the SPF content in it.

It is packed in a nice pen shape tube which has the bottom dial. The tip is slant and has six small holes. When it has to be applied on the lips then one has to twist the bottom dial to the right then the color appears on the holes present on the tip. In case too much color comes out then twist the dial to left and the excess quantity of the color goes back in the tube. This packaging is very attractive but its functioning (twisting bottom dial) initially seems to be interesting but later there is always an apprehension that the bottom dial might not function properly after sometime and then entire lipcolor would be wasted.

Pricing of this product with respect to the quantity (0.08 ounces of gloss in one tube) is rather more. It is indeed little expensive but can be purchased as it gives the value for money. Shine Seduction Glossy Lipcolor from Maybelline is a good buy but certainly it is a lip gloss and not a lipcolor.
