Methicones or Dimethicone: These both are silicone based polymers that are active ingredients for majority of cosmetics and personal care products. Presence of either one of them in the hair conditioner is sufficient as it penetrates in the hair and strengthens its structure through polymer cross linking.

Essential oils: These oils are concentrated, hydrophobic liquid having capricious aroma compounds from plants. It makes the dehydrated/porous hair become more soft and pliant because it gives required lubrication to the hair. It serves the same purpose of the natural oil present in the hair called sebum.

Jojoba oil: This oil is the liquid wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant. It is very close to sebum (natural oil produced by hair follicles). It is an exceptional moisturizer.

Avocado: It is a fruit having higher fat content and rich source of vitamin B6 & vitamin E. Both these vitamins are very crucial for the healthy growth and repair of the hair cuticles.

Shea Butter: It is kind of natural fat pulled out from fruit of the shea tree by crushing and boiling.
