just as a response to some of the comments here, Listen, we dont worship many gods, not even one god we worship the only god, everything resolves un to god , therefore it can be invoked in any form or Name, absolutely no problems what so ever . The cultural roots, vedantic vision is very profound & complete though a given individual does take time to grow and mature enough to understand it neverthless it is available + it is our duty to protect it and keep it available for future generations.

It has nothing to do with caste! It is a relationship between teacher and student and how student reciprocates to the teacher.
